A periodic Bulletin or Newsletter has been sent out since the Mumma Web site was initiated. The purpose of the Bulletin is to notify Mumma researchers when the database has been updated with new information and to provide information of general interest. Most issues are about 3 to 4 pages long and are in various file formats.

From the Fall of 1983 until the Fall of 1989, Margaret Dieringer produced a quarterly newsletter called the "Moomaw Newsletter". This newsletter was created to support the ongoing effort by Dr. H.Warner Kloepfer to update his initial Moomaw Book that was compiled and published on January 1,1965. It is unfortunate that Dr. Kloepfer died before he was able to complete the project. Mr. Robert "Bob" Moomaw took over Dr. Kloepfer's unfinished work and finally compiled the 541 page book "Moomaw - Mumma - Mumaw - Mumaugh Genealogy" in 1990. It is through the efforts of Bob, Margaret and others that we have this extensive knowledge about the Mumma immigrants and descendants. When Bob printed and issued his book in 1990, Margaret stopped issuing and additional newsletters. She has kindly given me permission to make these newsletters available. Each volume of the newsletter is in Acrobat format scanned at 300 dpi. This makes for very large file sizes (600-1000Kb), but was done this way because the quality of the original documents was not high. These files will be slow to download, but should print well.
